Daily Prompt: Now? Later!

Daily Prompt: Now? Later!

We all procrastinate. Website, magazine, knitting project, TV show, something else — what’s your favorite procrastination destination?

Ed
Turned his head
Saw the time
Stayed in bed.
It doesn’t matter
What his mean old boss said.

Elaine sat down
On the couch, with a frown
Picked up the remote
Pushed the power button down
She’d eat crackers again
Can’t be bothered with town.

Mark had a deadline
To write a new headline
But he leaned towards the mirror
Checking out his new hairline.
He was looking younger
Tomorrow he’ll start, to work on his waistline.

Josh clicked on the icon
Watched the new page take form
He wasn’t in class
He was safe in the dorm.
He was shooting those zombies
That attacked in a swarm.

Mabel decided she had time to sneak
Another look in her book, so she took a quick peek
She reread the love scene
Romance with the sheik.
His tryst with the heroine,
Made Mabel’s knees weak.
