  Thank you Viveka. I took a look at your site and was pleasantly surprised to be reminded of Christer, who’s work I am familiar with but, about whom I had not thought in quite a while. WordPress is good for that!

    Even if I’m Swedish I never heard about Christer until about a year ago, when I visit his exhibition in Helsingborg and I just lost my head over the artist and man. They showed a film about him that his son Joachim had made … and I fell in love watching him, his view on life, art and his attitude against the women in his life.
    Do you know he moved his bed around every Friday, because he said that who want to sleep at the same place every night?

    I was first exposed to Christer’s work in the mid 80’s (85 maybe 86) during a business trip to Stockholm. I took a look at one of his books in the home of a friend while there. B&W photos of young ladies.

    I guess that is the photos he took while living with transsexuals in Paris. That worked as prostitutes to be able to pay for their operations to become women. He lived with them for quite a few years. Very interesting period of his life … at least when it comes to his art. One of his most famous piece is the face with a snake.

I’m glad you liked it. These are some cove lights that I made for a big house back on the east coast. Finishing up the 2nd order now so the entire requirement for this job has been for >600 linear feet of these things in 1-4 foot long increments. Good job that I have enjoyed designing and building. Lots of fun to have a happy customer.
