They Always Find You – They Always Come

As the light blinked out she saw him watching, watching from the shadows. The glass she held shattered on the tiles. “How’d you get in? What do you want?”

“I came in through the bedroom window; and I’ve come for you, Molly.”

  1. So chilling. I love the details–the light blinking out, the sound of the glass shattering on the tiles.

  2. You did a fantastic job creating tension and unease. I liked the intro line and the image of the glass shattering on the tiles very much. Karen

  3. I might be as evil as he might be. Assuming he is a villain, of course. Sorry to leave you in the dark.
Not really, that was kinda my intention all along.
    Glad you liked it.

  4. Ooooh, vigilante, cop or evil intruder? The idea of the lights going out, revealing someone lurking in your home is just too creepy. Gives me shivers.

  5. Has a very villain feel to me… so it would be cool to expand the character as at least not evil (if not actually good)
