The Tempest



“It’s raining in my coffee again,” said Melinda gloomily.

“Indeed.”

“And waves are kicking up.”

“I see that.”

“Yes,” she said and sighed. “It renders the coffee almost undrinkable; diluted and cold.”

“There’s a cloud though. Does it have a silver lining?”

“Maybe,” she said, “it might make the washing up easier.”

  1. Very inventive, T.N. I like this piece a lot! (I think I’m going to have an earworm now, though. Supertramp’s “It’s Raining Again” then it can switch to another rain-based song. So many good ones to choose from!)
