Written for OLWG #44
Watson twisted the cork from the bottle and studied the Minister over the top of his half moons. He announced, “That’s bullshit Garner, and you know it. The situation is not black or white. We shouldn’t discuss right and wrong; we must define how far we -are -willing -to -go.” He splashed a measure of brown whisky in a glass and shoved it towards his colleague.
He searched for another glass, but wound up having to spill a batch of pencils from their customary ceramic mug. He filled it half way.
“Cheers.” he raised his mug to begin the negotiation.
OLWG presented the prompts with a drabble so I elected to respond in kind:
