Step outside, I am clothed in sunlight

Straighten my necktie,
Shoot my cuffs, and smile

Choose the lot at the corner of
East Cesta and Hurricane Street
Glimpse the yellow dome of the capital

Weave through the crowd in the street
Lift two wallets, one from a gentleman’s coat pocket
The other plucked from a Georgia Jay shoulder bag
The prize though is the Rolex

The prompts were:
- you can be sincere and still be stupid
- sunny place; shady people
- not even the poets
BRAVO!! So playful and spot on the prompts!! Cuts right through all the murky red/orange skies to the clear, clean, fresh-aired blue above. Ahhhh…

You are reminding me of Oliver Twist…
And some of the recent ‘magic shows’ I’ve seen with slight of hand – one ‘Picker’ plucked the shirt right off the guys back after he had taken and returned his wallet, watch and cell phone!
