Daily Prompt; The Spice of Success
The lump of molten plastic and wires oozed listlessly across the floor.
Andre sat on the concrete slab, in the dark, leaning against the wall. He stared at his latest in a long line of ‘almosts’. His eyebrows were singed and his nostrils burned from the smoke.
“Gotta get the power back on – next time, it’ll work next time. I just know it will.”

Oh dear, melting electrics are not what you want, but they do make for an exciting life – and interesting smells as I can testify having found some cables fused together today! Lovely images with those singed hairs.

No, thankfully, but I will be buying a new solar panel charge regulator as this is the second time it’s happened.
