This played out in my mind as a scene from a movie like Apollo 13. Smart work with the prompt!

Straight out of James Bond for me! Was it die another day that had a sub?

I’m not sure which one had a submarine. I’m getting a bit old I guess. Thanks for the read DS.

I guess that they did not have a solution. Good use of tension!

This reminded me of a song about a guy on a submarine: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ziwxlMYSk1A Its in German though, just thought I’d share it.

Thanks for sharing that. There is not a lot of airplay here for songs that are not in English. I miss a lot as a result.
Submarines were indeed the inspiration for this week’s submission to the supergrid. Hope you liked it.

I like how the resolution is understood, even though it isn’t stated. I also love how the word “click” functions as a visual break, and also an auditory break when read. (I’m not sure if that explains it correctly- it’s late!)

Immediate thoughts of ‘Hunt for Red October’ sprang to mind when reading this (in Sean Connery’s voice!) Loved that last line ‘click’.

I agree about the “click.” The drop at the end–I think my jaw did that, too. 🙂

This is like that point in the movie where you’re on the edge of the seat, tension is high and you just know something is about to go down!

If I got you on the edge of your seat then I did something right. Your work always has me leaning forward. Thanks

“Click” – powerful ending. I can so relate to these communications from my Cessna flying days. Good piece.

Thank you. It takes years to learn to speak that language. Glad you understood.

You are so good at sticking the landing! I envy that. One powerful “click” says it all. Great job, Thom.
